Students Leadership and Council
Uppsala International School (UIS) is an approved Cambridge international School for students aged 5-19.

The Student Councils are organised and conducted by students, facilitated by members of staff. The Student Councils are triangulated in line with the Assistant Principals’ roles and responsibilities, in addition to the Parent Councils; ensuring that all parties are working towards shared aims, objectives and outcomes.
The purpose of the Student Council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership skills by planning and delivering impactful initiatives and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to the wider school community, the Student Councils are the primary voice of the student body. They help share student ideas, interests and concerns with the wider school community.
Students will be involved in the monitoring, evaluating and reviewing of the Student Councils, presenting findings to the Leadership Team.
