Gothenburg British School (GBS) has designed its curriculum around the global needs of our students. Fundamentally, we offer the Cambridge Curriculum; however, we also incorporate the goals and values of the National Curriculm for England. This mix results in students being offered a modern, exciting and educationally advanced curriculum.
The value of receiving an international education in a global environment cannot be measured, and students are encouraged to discover more about the world and are supported in doing so.
The student body is multi-cultural with members from more than 60 countries represented. All lessons are taught in English. Students are prepared for the IGCSE examinations, AS and A levels and ultimately for universities of their choice. Whilst maintaining a strong focus on academic success at Gothenburg British School, we also endeavour to develop well-rounded students who are prepared for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life.
